The BE–LU tax tolerance allows a limited number of days worked outside Luxembourg. What gets challenged afterwards is the opposite: your presence in Luxembourg on all the other days. The app counts the former day by day and keeps, for the latter, the receipt, the tank of fuel or the toll that proves them.

Every day marked “Outside Luxembourg” uses one. That is the only thing that eats into this allowance.

Counted separately, on their own allowance. A day off is not a day worked elsewhere: it does not touch the 34.

Luxembourg public holidays

The employer's calendar, not the one where you live: the Belgian 21 July and 11 November are ordinary working days here.

Both allowances are editable year by year, from the calendar. Counting and proving are two separate things: only a day marked “Outside Luxembourg” eats into the allowance, and it is the days worked in Luxembourg that need proof — attaching a file never uses anything up.

Scan a document

The document is filed on the date printed on it. Automatic reading is optional and off by default: without it, the screen simply asks for the date. A code on screen lets you photograph it from your phone.

Read-only links

An address to give your accountant or the tax office: read-only, limited to one year if you want, with an expiry date and a button to revoke it.

PDF export

Every working day of the year, with the status, the note, the name of the proof of presence in Luxembourg or the word MISSING, and the counters in the footer.

Your documents

A till receipt says a lot about you

It carries your name, the shops you visited and the dates. So the files stay on the server hosting the app, served to your account only, and nothing is sent anywhere else by default.

Automatic reading of documents is the only moment a file leaves the server. It is switched on explicitly, switched off just as fast, and the app works entirely without it.

What people ask before they start

How do you count the days you work outside Luxembourg?

Day by day, on a calendar. Weekends and Luxembourg public holidays are already there; you only mark the days that are out of the ordinary, and the year's counter follows along. A day marked “Outside Luxembourg” uses one of the allowance, a day off does not — the two counts are kept apart.

How many days may I work outside Luxembourg?

Today 34 days a year for a Belgian, French or German resident, each under their own convention with Luxembourg. The ceiling was raised on different dates per country, so an older year keeps its own: the app opens each year with that year's figure, editable afterwards. These are its defaults, not tax advice.

Which proof do you need to keep?

Whatever proves presence in Luxembourg on a given day: a till receipt, a tank of fuel, a restaurant bill, a toll, a travel ticket. You attach the file to the day in question — photographed from the computer, or from your phone by scanning a code on the screen — and the whole year comes out as a PDF, day by day, with the counters in the footer.

Is the app free?

The register is free and stays free: the calendar, the statuses, the counters, your proof files, the PDF export, the read-only links and the phone upload. The Pro subscription only covers the two things that really cost money — the automatic reading of photographed documents, and more space.

Can my accountant look at the file?

Yes, with a read-only link: an address limited to a single year if you want, with an expiry date and a button to revoke it. Whoever opens it sees the calendar and the proof files, with no account and no way to change anything.

Do my documents stay private?

The files stay on the server that hosts the app and are served only to your account and to the links you created. Automatic reading is the only moment a document leaves, and it is optional and off by default. Deleting the account erases the register, the files and the links immediately, from the Account page.
